April 11th - December, 2020 If "local, fresh, organic" are words you want to hear when you shop, make your way to the Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market every Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Under the spreading live oak trees by the Carteret County Courthouse, local farmers gather to sell fresh produce, meats, seafood, flowers, jam, jelly, honey, eggs, and more. Handmade items such as soaps and knitted Alpaca wool products, by artists and crafters are also available. Two booths are reserved for community non-profits to educate shoppers. Chefs and nutritionists are on site for cooking demonstrations, and that's not all - live music, kid's activities, and a good ole dose of family-friendly atmosphere around the picnic tables. It's the place "where life slows down so neighbors can catch up."
