The Heart Center of Eastern Carolina is a full-service cardiology practice featuring the most up-to-date services in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiac and vascular diseases. These cardiologists offer patients many kinds of non-invasive and invasive treatments: diagnostic catheterization, balloon angioplasty, nuclear cardiology, peripheral vascular disease treatments, atherectomy, stent placement, pacemaker implant and follow-up echocardiology, hypertension treatment, ECP therapy and lipid management. Electrophysiology, nutrition consultations as well as clinical research trials are also included in their services. Patients are seen by referral and appointment. The Heart Center of Eastern Carolina also has an office in New Bern (see our New Bern Healthcare section). Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
