Coastal Care is a local government public agency that provides management and oversight of mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services through a provider network for the residents of Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender, Onslow and Carteret counties. Services include 24/7 screening, triage, and referrals. Patients may refer themselves or can be referred by a family member, school, court system representative, minister, physician or other area agency. The service also offers a 24-hour emergency response line, (866) 875-1757.
